This blog is for acupuncture patients. I know that for new patients, acupuncture can be an incredible experience but it can also be profoundly unusual and mysterious. An hour long appointment is usually not enough time to answer all of your questions and still have enough time for a good treatment.
My goal is to provide you with insight and expand on some of the basic principles of the medicine. I will also be posting recipes, exercises and general health tips to enhance your care. Please feel free to request information, ask me questions or share your story.
I have been studying and practicing Chinese Medicine since 1997. I hold a master’s degree in Acupuncture and Certificate of Chinese Herbal Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle. I currently live and practice on Fidalgo Island in NW Washington.
